Beef Stew GSI Pressure Cooker
This recipe has been modified for the GSI Halulite 2.7L/3Qt pressure cooker.
Ingredients
- 1 lbs Stew Meat
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 small onion, thawed= 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. celery seeds
- ⅛ tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4tsp. ground white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 2 potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

1 cup green peas or green beans (Optional)
Directions
Step 1
- Add 1Tbsp of oil to the pan and Brown Stew Meat
Step 2
- Add the rest of the ingredients, Except for the flour and green beans or peas, into the pressure cooker. Close and lock the lid.
Step 3
- Turn the heat up to high. When cooker reaches pressure, lower the heat to the minimum needed to maintain the pressure. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
- Remove from the heat and allow the pot to sit for 10-20 minutes before carefully releasing any residual pressure.
Step 5

Sprinkle in the flour and stir well. Add the peas and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, or until desired thickness is reached, and serve.
