Takibi fire pit grill accessories- no storage bag

Takibi Floga- inadequate bag

Takibi Rumpl blanket- lack of stuff sack

Pictured above is also the Takibi fire tool set which is 100% worth buying. There is also a small firewood bag single bundle carrier.

Takibi fire pit includes the collapsible fire pit, base plate and carrying case.

It can also be purchased in a bundle package with the grill grate accessory. However the grill accessories do not come with a storage case and snowpeak does not sell a storage bag for these accessories. I had to make a storage case for these accessories.

Floga

This accessory does burn the wood hotter and faster. So a good size fire that would have lasted us over 4-5 hours instead burns in 2 hours. This means a drastic increase in firewood will be needed to keep a fire going. On the other hand if all you want is a short fast burning fire before bed or in the morning then this is PERFECT.

The additional height of the side panels blocks horizontal radiant heat so that our legs were no longer able to be warmed while sitting. While the biggest noticeable difference and improvement was that it does drastically radiate heat upward from the fire that is best felt by standing within 1-2ft of the fire pit. The radiant heat is not easily felt when sitting.

The Floga is an additional 12lb+ accessory that allegedly is supposed to reduce smoke and increase combustion. I did not see any improvement in the reduction of smoke. This accessory at full price of $159.00 is a hard pass – Not worth purchasing if you are severely limited on storage space or weight.

Lastly the included storage bag leaves a lot to be desired as it does not even have the most primitive of carrying handles. It comes with a top close cinch rope and nothing more.

So I added my own 2in polypropylene handles.

Takibi Rumpl Nanoloft

The Takibi Rumpl blanket is a fantastic size and a great rugged material ideal for outdoor use. I love the blankets so much that I bought another for my husband when snowpeak brought it back for the 2022 season. They are even great for backyard use. The only negative is that I would have expected them to come in an equally amazing, practical, rugged stuff sack. Instead they come with a ridiculous carrying strap. For a $200+ blanket this leaves a lot to be desired. In real world use these strap things are a waste of time. I ended up having to buy aftermarket stuff sacks from a local surplus outdoor recreational store. The stuff bags I purchased are just as rugged, practical, and protective as I expected to come with the blankets in the first place.
